Full time employees are eligible for benefits
after 90-day probation period
Holiday Pay: New Year’s Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Friday afterwards, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, President’s Day, Veteran’s Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. (If a holiday falls on a Saturday, employees are off on Friday, if holiday falls on a Sunday, employees are off on Monday. Pay is 8 hours @ employee’s regular wage.
Vacation Pay: 1-5 years/2 weeks, 6-15 years/ 3 weeks, 16 years on/ 4 weeks, all given on anniversary of hire date. Employees are allowed to sell back half, and has to be used within one year before getting new vacation time.
Health Insurance: City pays 80% of health insurance.
Dental, Vision and Aflac are available to employees being responsible for 100% of the cost.
Sick Pay: 8 hours per month and not to exceed 96 hours in any given year. Employees will receive their sick pay with the last paycheck of each month. *No compensation shall be authorized for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
Overtime: Employees are not paid overtime; it is figured in as time and a half and put into their PTO as it is earned.
